The child won't speak...

Last winter Emma ran away from Llandudno to Liverpool to escape from a family situation that she found intolerable. She returned after 2 days sleeping rough in Liverpool – but she won't speak about what might have happened during this time. However, she now feels that things at home are worse than before; she can not bear to stay but she knows that she could not bear to run away again. Suicide seems the only way out. After a cousellor at Get Connected had listened and explored the options, Emma was connected to her local branch of The Samaritans.
