Bechtel don stilettos, sequins and lounge suits

Bechtel has supported Railway Children’s UK work for over four years. During that time the company has financed a night-time counsellor on the UK’s only 24 hour Runaways Helpline and helped fund the planning of a strategic approach to deliver services to children and young people living on UK streets.

As one of the world’s premier engineering, construction and project management companies, Bechtel has always taken a hands-on approach to supporting us. Employees have rattled donation buckets, climbed mountains and, in December, donned stilettos, sequins and lounge suits to host a Christmas cocktail party in our benefit. The evening’s fundraising efforts enabled us to feed 80 children three meals a day for the twelve days of Christmas, as part of our corporate “Feed a Child” appeal.
