Full Steam Ahead for Family Fun Day at Heritage Centre
Railway Children's second annual Family Fun Day at Crewe's Heritage Centre will take place on May Day Bank Holiday weekend.
Join us on Sunday 2nd & Monday 3rd May 2010, for a fun filled extravaganza including locomotives Princess Elizabeth '6201' & Duchess of Sutherland '6233' in steam. Miniature railways will run around the heritage centre giving rides and static displays will include the famous APT exhibition, signal boxes and model railways. A Routemaster bus will operate a shuttle bus service between the centre and Crewe railway station, for donations to the charity.
The event will include live music and dancers, face painting, fairground rides and various trade stalls.
Entrance to the site from 10am-4.30pm will cost £5 adult, £10 family and £3 concessions. Once again, the Heritage Centre are kindly donating 75% of the fee to Railway Children.
Last year we raised £1,100 for children alone and at risk on the streets. Lets make this year even better and have some Bank Holiday fun.
