STEAM Celebrate GWR175 with a Gala Dinner
Its best bib and tucker at the ready for a sumptuous Gala Dinner at STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon on 21st August 2010.
Pop music legend and rail enthusiast Dr Pete Waterman OBE and Prof Andrew McNaughton FREng, Chief Engineer of High Speed Two will take you on a journey from past through to future, as guest speakers at this prestigious event. With a six course gourmet dinner (click here for menu) live music and an exhibition of unseen images by Dick Blenkinsop from the celebration of GWR 150 in 1985, the evening will be a fitting celebration of the historic Great Western Railway.
A charity auction will be held for Railway Children during the evening.
