Platform Appeal

PLATFORM is a new appeal that will build upon the support of the entire Rail community and the organisations and people within to aid Railway Children’s work in India. The aim of PLATFORM is to raise £2.5 million over 3 years, to help the estimated 60,000 children who are living on railway platforms reclaim their childhoods.

The PLATFORM appeal is an opportunity for the rail industry to get on track to tackle a huge problem that affects some of the most vulnerable individuals in society, and really make a difference. In addition to raising funds, PLATFORM will raise awareness of issues related to the rail industry and bring them to the forefront of the social agenda.

There are a number of very simple ways in which you and your company can help and they really are simple to introduce. The PLATFORM appeal even incorporates ways to reward companies and their employees for their involvement.
