The rail industry's fundraiser is back for the ultimate railway networking event.
The Railway Ball offers you and your guests the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous evening with lavish entertainment, fine food and the usual thrills and surprises that make the Railway Ball in a league of its own.
Our creative team are working hard to match last year's show, when over 1,000 Railway Revellers partied at Platform 66, the Railway Ball’s tribute to the Sixties...Jammed pack with entertainment from Ready Steady Go, Motown and the Summer of Love; these cool vibes ensured everyone danced…even during dinner…inspired no doubt by our “Dance Off" Competition, where 100 dancer extraordinaires twisted, mash potatoed and shook their tail feathers! The competitive theme continued with The Mini Challenge, demonstrated by our very own Rail A-Team, namely Peter Hendy, Commissioner for TfL; David Higgins, CEO, Network Rail; Elaine Holt, Chief Executive of Directly Operated Railways & Chairman, East Coast; Michael Roberts, CEO, ATOC; Terina Keene, CEO, Railway Children; Tim Shoveller, MD, East Midland Trains; Anton Valk, CEO, NedRailways and Mark Hopwood, MD, First Great Western. Thanks to these good sports and the generosity of over 100 supporting companies, Railway Children will benefit from a donation of over £280,000.
