Help make the invisible, visible donate now
We've created free resources for teachers to educate pupils about the dangers of running away.
Helping children to understand the dangers of running away and
teaching them to make safe decisions when away from home is
important. Our free school lesson plans help teachers to deliver
lessons on running away from home, as well as helping children to
identify safe people and safe places.
We have packs available for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 to educate
children between the ages of 5 and 16. The packs include guidance
notes for teachers to provide them with more information about the
issue of running away in the UK and how they can support children
who are potentially at risk.
Schools: Download our free runaway prevention
lesson plans and help us to educate children
throughout the UK about the dangers of running away from home.
Parents and carers: Download our
free runaway prevention lesson plans and ask your
child's teacher to deliver them to their class to educate them on
You can also email your school a link to this page: www.railwaychildren.org.uk/schoolresources
and ask them to get involved.
