Mark III Farewell On Irish Rail
Irish Rail has organised a rail tour to the Western Rail Corridor on Saturday 24th April 2010 acting as a farewell to Mark III coaches, with all proceeds being donated to Railway Children.'Doric Olympian' Steams to the Aid of Street Children
It was 'All Aboard' on Saturday 6th March for an exhilarating trip up Kensington Olympia for the 'Doric Olympian' hauled by LMS Princess Class Pacific No. 6201 'Princess Elizabeth'.
Vintage Trains steam excursion from Birmingham New Street, running through Wolverhampton, Stafford and Crewe, allowed Railway Children volunteers to hold a raffle on board, which raised a fantastic £413.

GWR 175
2010 marks the 175th anniversary of the creation of the Great Western Railway.
A series of special events will take place across the region to celebrate this
milestone in railway history.
Railway Children are the chosen charity of the organisations marking the
historical landmark and we will be attending events throughout the course
of 2010. Watch this space for more details.
Crewe Rocks for Railway Children
Volunteers Helen and Jasmyn Pullan organised a band night entitled 'Road to Nowhere' at the Box in Crewe on 20th February 2010.
