Registration for this event is now closed. We still have places on lots of other running events, take a look here.

Following the course of the famous Silverstone race track, this flat race can be used as a pre-Virgin London Marathon warm-up or as a great half marathon in its own right.

The first adidas Half Marathon was held on 2 March 2003 on the track at Silverstone and attracted over 6,000 runners. This was the first event organised by the London Marathon to take place outside the capital and offered the opportunity to compete on a track steeped in motor racing history, having played host to legends such as Fangio, Senna and Mansell since its inception as a race track in 1948.

What you'll get:

What you'll get:
  • Lots of support. We're not a huge charity, which means we can be there for our runners on a more personal level. We're always happy to help wherever we can.
  • Railway Children running vest. You might not spot loads out on the course, but our #StreetHeroes wear them with pride knowing they're part of a special community that's changing children's lives.
  • Fundraising handbook. We have lots of resources to make your fundraising simple and a success!

Why run for Railway Children?

Over the last 20 years we have helped make things better for over 270,000 street children. Better tonight, tomorrow, next week and next year. But we’re only just getting started.

We need you to join our fight for children who have nowhere to go and noone to turn to. With your help we can give more children a future and keep them safe - for good.
