Swap your warm bed at home for the cold floor of a railway station for just one night and help us raise awareness as well as vital funds to support the hundreds of children who face this ordeal every day around the world.

We want the event to make a stir and to turn heads which is why we are holding it at these four major railway stations simultaneously.

This is a new challenge, but we plan to make it a popular feature on our events calendar, adding more stations across the country in the years to come.

We know that the more awareness we can bring to this issue, the more we can do, together, to make a difference in the lives of children who need us.

Event timings

8pm - 8.30pm: Arrival and sign-in

9pm: Welcome from Railway Children

6am - 7am: Breakfast is served and event closes

What to expect

You'll have to be prepared for a cold, uncomfortable night but you will at least have a roof over your head, warm food and drink, and the companionship of your friends and colleagues.

While this sleepout won't accurately replicate what it is like for the children we work with, it will give you a valuable insight into this issue.

What to bring

- A sleeping bag and pillow

- Warm clothes (we recommend lots of light layers)

- Your mobile phone so you can share your experience on social media and help raise more awareness

What's included

- Railway Children branded beanie hat

- Refreshments throughout the night
