Swap your warm bed at home for the cold floor of a railway station for just one night and help us raise awareness as well as vital funds to support the hundreds of children who face this ordeal every day around the world.

This event made a huge impact in 2020 with over 300 people sleeping at nine stations and raising over £135,000, so we're planning on bringing in back again in 2021. If you'd like to pre-register please email k.mason@railwaychildren.org.uk

Watch this short film to hear all about this year's Sleepout at London Waterloo from staff and participants.

What to expect

You'll have to be prepared for a cold, uncomfortable night but you will at least have a roof over your head, warm food and drink, and the companionship of your friends and colleagues.

This event isn’t designed to replicate the situations faced by the children we work with, but it will raise awareness of the issues and we know that the more we can do that, more we can do, together, to make a difference in the lives of children who need us.

- Warm clothes (we recommend lots of light layers)

- Your mobile phone so you can share your experience on social media and help raise more awareness
