RideLondon - the world's greatest festival of cycling - returns on Sunday 29th May 2022 with a new format, exciting new routes and a new partnership with Essex County Council.
At the heart of this celebration of all things cycling is the RideLondon-Essex 100 challenge - a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.
The event will start and finish in the capital, with 60 miles of rolling roads through some of Essex’s most beautiful countryside and villages in between. The full route will be announced in early 2022 – so watch this space for details.
Test your strength, stamina and determination, plus gain a great sense of achievement. Every mile you cycle and every penny you raise will help Railway Children fight for vulnerable children alone and at risk living on the streets.
What you'll get:
- Lots of support. We're not a huge charity, which means we can be there for our cyclists on a more personal level. We're always happy to help wherever we can before and after the event.
- Railway Children jersey. You might not spot loads out on the route, but our cyclists wear them with pride knowing they're part of a special community that's changing children's lives.
- Fundraising handbook. We have lots of resources to make your fundraising simple and a success!
- Meet & Greet. We'll be waiting for you at the finish to congratulate you on your huge achievement.
Why cycle for Railway Children?
Over the last 20 years we have helped make things better for over 270,000 street children. Better tonight, tomorrow, next week and next year. But we’re only just getting started.
We need you to join our fight for children who have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. With your help we can give more children a future and keep them safe - for good.
