Guitar 2

A guitar signed by Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood and donated by Transport for London is now available for auction, with proceeds going to Railway Children.

Transport for London has commissioned a collection of 15 limited edition Fender Stratocaster® guitars to celebrate the Night Tube and the release of The Rolling Stones’ first studio album in over a decade, 'Blue & Lonesome'.

Each guitar displays the map of the Night Tube’s five lines against a dark blue starry sky background. And fourteen of these guitars will be on sale at the London Transport Museum from early December, just in time for the start of Night Tube services on the Piccadilly line on December 16.

The collection of guitars also includes an extra special version signed by Rolling Stones legend, Ronnie Wood – click on the following link to go to the auction:

Anuraddha Chandran, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Railway Children, said: “This is a wonderful gesture by Transport for London and an amazing opportunity for someone to own a one-off guitar that is a design classic and signed by one of the greatest guitarists of all time. All funds raised from this special, one-off auction will help us change the lives of vulnerable children alone and at risk on the streets in East Africa, India and the UK.”

The Night Tube guitars priced at £1,499 inc VAT will be available to order and buy at the London Transport Museum shop at
