C2C’s Ultramarathon for Railway Children

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and embark on an adrenaline-fueled adventure like never before! The stage is set for the most epic Ultramarathon event, and it's not just about the miles — it's about the journey, the cause, and the breath-taking landscapes that will unfold beneath your every step.

Join us for a one-day Ultramarathon organised by c2c to raise vital funds for our work supporting vulnerable children around the world. Enjoy a fun but challenging event with a great atmosphere throughout the day!

Choose your challenge

Whether it’s conquering the 30-mile route or pushing your limits with the 50-mile distance, the London Loop and England Coast National Trails will serve as your personal raceaway!

Participants will be able to run or walk east along the Thames, with awe-inspiring views of the river and Greater London. The scenery is a mixture of urban, marsh land and river bank and the going underfoot is mainly tarmac with some hard trails in sections.

Registration for the event will take place at Tilbury Station (30 Mile starting point) or Upminster Station (50 mile start point) with both finish lines at Southend Central Station.
