Fundraising for Railway Children

Spend the night. Change a life.
Gather your friends, family or colleagues and sign up as a team to spend the night at a railway station, raising funds and awareness for Railway Children.
Over £750,000 has been raised in the last five years from this flagship event and we’re so proud of this incredible achievement.
In 2025, nearly 400 people joined us at railway stations across the UK.
We partner with stations nationwide, so you can take part at one near you — or explore a different station each year! These locations include: Glasgow Central, Birmingham New Street, London Liverpool Street, London Marylebone, London Waterloo, Nottingham, Leeds, Swansea and Manchester Victoria.
You’ll have to be prepared for a cold, uncomfortable night but you will at least have a roof over your head, warm food and drink, and the companionship of your friends and colleagues.
This event won’t replicate the situations faced by the children we work with, but it will raise awareness of the issues and difficulties they face. We know that the more we can do that, the more we can do together to make a difference.
WHAT TO BRING
- A sleeping bag and pillow
- Warm clothes (we recommend lots of light layers)
- Your mobile phone so you can share your experience on social media and help raise more awareness
