Cycling for Change
In September 2025, an incredible team of 70 cyclists took on our Ride the Route challenge, travelling from Liverpool to Darlington.
Together, they raised £70,000 to help Railway Children protect vulnerable young people around the world.
Since it began, Ride the Route has raised over £220,000 for Railway Children.

READY TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE?
This is the perfect event for individuals and teams alike!
Whether you are a seasoned cyclist, or a novice on the pedals, you can choose the full three-day challenge or take on a one-day ride all with like-minded people by your side! All funds raised will go to Railway Children, providing protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to.
Our 2026 event starts on Thursday 3rd September until Saturday 5th September with a team meeting up the night before, ahead of an early ride start. Registration is £50 for a single day rider, and £75 for the full three day event, with a minimum fundraising pledge of £350 (£150 for single day riders), but of course sky’s the limit when it comes to fundraising and we will be on hand to help and support you all the way!
