A thank you message from our CEO, Rob, as we approach Christmas.
Date: 14th December 2023
It’s been another challenging year, but I hope that as you enjoy some downtime with your families and friends, you will reflect on our achievements, both as individuals and together.
We are all affected by that feeling of ‘needing to do more’ – there are so many children who need us and too often, we concentrate on the things we’ve not managed to do rather than celebrating the constant wins in a difficult environment.
Since becoming CEO, I’ve talked a lot about the importance of our culture and values. Our ‘never give up’ spirit is apparent in all of you who remain unwavering in your support for Railway Children, and I hope you can look back with a sense of pride for everything you have made possible this year – you all play a part in changing children’s lives in the UK, India and Tanzania.
All that remains for me to say is to hold those you love close, enjoy every moment and have the most wonderful Christmas. May 2024 bring you health and happiness.
– Rob
