In Tanzania you:
- protected 1,891 children through our Social Welfare Service Desks
- safely reintegrated 369 children into nurturing family settings
- provided 450 children with vital educational support
One of the children you protected was 15-year-old Anna* who, feeling lost, alone and uncared for, spent her days – and nights – at Magafuli Bus Terminal, where she was at risk of exploitation and abuse.

In the UK, you:
- equipped 4,394 rail staff and members of the British Transport Police in rail safeguarding, keeping more children safe
- supplied specialist 1:1 support to 167 young people when they were at their most vulnerable
- armed 462 young people and their families with the information, advice or signposting they needed to rebuild their lives
One of the children whose confidence you rebuilt was 15-year-old Jack* who, having been let down in the past, was struggling with trauma, overwhelm and a distrust of adults – leaving him with little hope for the future.

In India you:
- kept 1,765 children safe at transport terminals when they needed it most
- supported 2,720 vulnerable children, including 214 absent from school, across nine slum communities
- trained 3,935 officials on child rights and protection, making railways safer spaces for children
One of the children you supported was schoolgirl, Suman*, who, following training as part of our peer leadership programme, knew she had to do something when her best friend, Saaji, was pulled out of school.
