Huw Merriman joins Pullman Spring Tour

This May, in partnership with the Railway Industry Association, Huw Merriman MP will join Railway Children’s iconic Midland Pullman Spring tour – and you could be there too!

Date: 8th April 2024

Fine dining & great company

The grand tour departs from London Paddington at 6pm on Thursday, 9th May and, as the train meanders through the beautiful scenery of Reading, Newbury, Bradford-on-Avon and Bath, Rail Minister, Huw Merriman, in partnership with the Railway Industry Association, will walk through the carriages to meet with guests and answer their questions.

Guests will be served an exquisite seven-course meal and fine wine while enjoying first-class entertainment, before the train returns to London Paddington by 10.30pm.

Your bit of luxury, their ticket to safety

All proceeds from this grand tour will fund Railway Children’s work across the UK, India and Tanzania – helping children live safe, secure lives away from the streets.

Children like 16-year-old Zara who was found travelling alone on the rail network after going missing from home.

Zara had been out of school for several months, was struggling with her mental health and would not engage with support. But through regular one-to-one sessions, Railway Children practitioners got to know Zara and built her trust – and, gradually, she began to open up. Today, she is being supported to manage her emotions, re-engage with education and build for her future.

But with the number of vulnerable children rising all the time, your place on this exclusive Midland Pullman tour can help Railway Children reach more young people before it’s too late.

Act fast
