Rock icons Metallica are set to return to the UK with a special, intimate London show at the exclusive House of Vans venue on Friday 18th November.
The one-off live performance by one of the world’s most successful bands will mark the launch of Metallica’s eleventh studio album ‘Hardwired…To Self-Destruct’, with all proceeds from the gig going to Railway Children.
The charity is delighted to have been being nominated for the 2016 National Rail Safety Award. This achievement recognises Railway Children’s outstanding safeguarding work, and in particular creating a safety network in partnership with British Transport Police and staff members from across the rail industry.
Cat Gibson is a big supporter of Railway Children's Safeguarding Children on Transport programme. As shift station manager at Manchester Piccadilly she regularly came into contact with vulnerable young people.
